I am avoiding facials right now due to my skin condition. I just did one last month though because I wanted to get a massage, then might as well go for a facial since I'm there.

What do you think? Obvious.

Yes, it doesn't work for me.

Locally it's Fann Wong for sure. Hollywood, I guess Ellen DeGeneres.

Cleansing.

19. Why do you think we should take care of our skin?
You wouldn't want your 20s or 30s to pass just like that with bad skin. This is the time to look the best and make people envious of you, kekekeke.... which is why, I choose to take antibiotics again despite how much I hated to take pills. but the pills worked for me... so, make the best out of your 20s and 30s. You wouldn't want to find a bf at 40 right?

ZA Concealer Perfection/ MAC Studio Finish.

3. Do you know your undertone color?
Erm... should be yellow.

4. What do you think of fake eyelashes?
They are whoever's greatest invention.

5. Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?
Ya.

6. What brand of mascara do you use?
Currently, RIMMEL SEXY CURVES. It's sexy...

7. Sephora, drugstore or departmental store?
all three are fine with me. but i prefer to shop at departmental store.

8. Do you use mac?
Of course.

9. What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Please dont' think that I am trying to be funny. Obviously your fingers. You need your fingers to hold the brushes... hahahhaa just kidding. I use lots of eye brushes for my eye makeup. I don't own many face brushes because I feel that one MAC 187 works for me, it does the job of applying foundation, loose powder, blusher and bronzer.

Yes

MAC Sculpt and Shape Warm Light Definitive (hug hug)

MAC Carbon or Coastalscents 88 (black). Black can create all kinds of smokey. Green smokey, blue smokey...

Woo Yeah!!! Many people hate it but I actually love doing it muahaha....

Pencil.

None.

Yes.

Currently, it's CANMAKE LIP GLOSS.

I am all about the eyes person, therefore, you would have guess I don't normally use blushers. But if I were to do a 'cool' tone look, definitely MAC PINK SWOON. if it's a bronze look, I just use the top part of my MAC Sculpt and Shape Warm Light Definitive (hug hug).

24. Type or brand or name?
or rather packaging.

25. Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
Never leh.

26. Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yes of coz. All my mascaras are from drugstore.

27. Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Yes.

28. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
No. but sometimes I get that time of the day, especially when I am late, where I have problems with blending, applying eye liner and falsies. When something goes wrong, everything else follows, and I normally remove everything and go for my black eyeliner look.

29. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
I have to agree with Sara, ungroomed brows seriously turns me off... I will look at your brows if you are talking to me.

30. Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
Colourful.

31. Can you share a make up trick that you know?
To curl your lashes like really curly muahaha.... squeeze the curler and turn the curler 90 degrees up, and release. Do this for root, middle section and nearer to the ends section. So it's usually 3 curls, and you get pretty curly lashes!

32. Which celebrity always has great make up?
Blair Wardolf actually looks quite good. And Richie Nickel.

33. Can you make a "cat eye" wing?
Yes, faves!

34. If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?
Eyeliner.

35. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
I do that most of the time but I need people to drive me around. Else I probably won't take public transport in that look.

36. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Not really muahaha... Just have to accept it.

37. In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
In terms of? If you want to talk about packaging, I just got to give it to YSL, they also have the quality. Until now I am still not sure whats so great about MAC but they really got me and I do like their stuffs though. It's probably the range and variety of stuffs that keeps me going back. I love new products, even if it's just looking or owning them.

38. Would you ever consider permanent makeup?
WTF? No.

39. Have you ever work in a cosmetic line?
Hahaha... When Red Earth was still popular, yes.

This is my current faves as I m now very into bronzy, sunshine look. Coz that kinda look is damn outstanding with my current hair colour... This is super pigmented, therefore I believe you can skip the lipstick and the lip liner thingy....

I got this to set my foundation... It's my faves coz as compared to using MSF, this is so much lighter and best of all, it works for all skin tones. Cheers!

MAC Prep + Prime Line Filler Base
This thing is magical. As mentioned, the palm lines of that sales assistant literally disappeared right in front of my eyes. I definitely have to get it as I have tons of fine lines around my eye area.

This colour is super gorgoues on my bronzy look. So... needless to say more, this is the best colour for me right now. loves!

Premier Dead Sea Mask for Problematic Skin
 
The only excitement I get from this mask is applying them. The highly whipped texture is soo fun to play with, everytime I put on this, I am like applying whipped cream on the cake. The only feeling I get after removing the mask is cleansed and hydrated. These 2 advantages alone are good enough to be my daily mask. loves loves...

YSL 'Y' Palette

This shit here is making me cum like multiple times. Muahaha... looking at it alone is pleasures to the eye... from the box to the small tiny brush... It is sooooo GORGEOUS, OMG I can't bear to use it actually...

YSL:(left to right) Rouge Pure Shine in Cassis Sauvage 33 (wild blackberry) and Rouge Volupte in Rose Culte 11

This colour looks sooo intense but after applying them, it looks like a pretty prune colour. Awesome texture and best of all, other than the packaging, it smells exactly like its name WILD BLACKBERRY, YSL are way tooo crazy....

This lipstick is so heavy, literally, that I don't feel so bad spending $42 on a lipstick. It feels like I purchased a gold bar with lipstick in it.... I don't know what I am talking about. Kudos to the designer, the top part serves as a mirror, anyway... this colour over here, I have been searching high and low for a INTENSE, HOT PINK LIPSTICK. and Amazingly, it smells like wild blackberry too.... I'm a FAN now. More YSL lipstick to my lipstick rack, thats for sure... HOT!

review on ZA Concealer Perfection

Wooo... first of all let me apologise for the lack of updates lately... I've been terribly busy with projects and stuffs... Let's kick off with Hervie and Mon's appearance on a press...


this was published today on My Paper, a free publication given to commuters like 7am in the morning... At 11am, I was woken up by Daniel's call, he said that I m famous now. Holy crap! We were just acceding to the request of the reporter. I find the headline amusing though... we were coconuts?!!! anyway... had a good laugh though...

Back to my updates, met up with my esprit colleagues (we were all 16 at that time), Angela and Siew Peng (aka Ah Peng), wanted to chill at KPO, however, no seats, Shawn and Mel came down to join us and we headed down to Fashion Bar, which happens to be their last night in clarke quay...

It was a night full of alcohol for me that I puked almost anything I eat or drink the next day... the hangover experience was seriously HORRIFIC. I know I once promised I won't get drunk anymore, and this time I am rather firmed about it....
















yeah, i sober up at Rebel and dance the night away...

the next update is the long awaited dinner... we were suppose to visit this place on the 9th Aug, however, Kim's health wasn't in tip top condition and HTF postponed the dinner to 17th Aug.


Sitting at the beach in Sentosa is Braise and Silk restaurant... the view from Braise wasn't breath-taking but rather it is comfortable and relax...



Let's kick off with a bottle of red... it was quite strong for me... I dont know why I agree to it...


this was a complimentary dish... some cod fish thingy... superb...


next was spanner crab with caviar and lobster sauce... this dish is raw but I kinda enjoy it... interesting...


Pan smeared Foie Gras with I forgot what is it, I only remember the waitress telling me with the gland of the goose.... I have to say this is my first attempt and it wasn't really a good one. I am probably not cut out for fine dining or I m having gastric problem that night...  because early that morning I was feeling nauseous already... I will definitely give this thing another shot, still waiting for our next outing at THE FRENCH STORE (located in little india... yes, you got me right, little india... shall update you guys real soon). Anyways, the foie gras really made me drink quite a fair bit and I was kinda full already....


then it was spicy lobster pasta, i have to say this is the best thing in our 6 course dinner...

soft boiled eggs with potato emulsion and caviar... erm... not sure about this, my vote definitely goes to Ya Kun soft boiled eggs... Kim felt really sick after eating this...

we were suppose to have pigeon, however, the restaurant called us before the dinner saying that the pigeons looked too anorexic, hence they are planning to change our main to steak.... fair enough.... above is braised beef ribs for Kel and Kim....

I chose the tenderlion with beef cheeks, bacon and some other thing I forgotten...

our dessert, the usual warm chocolate thingy... with coffee ice-cream...

nice tea set....

I think that I want to give the restaurant another chance before I rate them... for my body wasn't in tip top condition.... coz my body has been rejecting oily and good food for 1 week.... I can only settle for porridge or soup lately...
